From We Can’t to We Can is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization for children with disabilities with whom we regularly partner with. They create representation and inclusion through children’s books, local events and financial support. They also create books that feature real kids with disabilities as superheroes and their initiatives and programs normalize and raise awareness of disabilities.  They host inclusive events that cater to the disability community, including multiple professional photo shoots throughout the year with Image is Everything, highlighting each “super hero”!

Recently, one of our Superhero photo shoots was highlighted on the local news with PHL17. We love playing such an important role as another advocate for these kids!

What does it mean to be an advocate?

Being an advocate means actively supporting and promoting the rights, well-being, and inclusion of children who have disabilities. We work to ensure that these children receive equal opportunities and the chance to fully participate in society without facing discrimination or barriers. Besides one small stepdown, there are no barriers at our studio!

These are not just “photo shoots”, but instead, a way to:

  • Promoting Inclusivity
  • Fight Discrimination
  • Support Families
  • Raise Awareness
  • Collaborate with Organizations like We Can’t to We Can

Advocacy requires empathy, dedication, and a commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable world for all children, regardless of their abilities. It involves actively working towards dismantling barriers and ensuring that children with disabilities have every opportunity!
