Local portrait studio, focused on “Giving Back”, is Celebrating Grand Opening in Clayton, NJ.

PRLog (Press Release) – Oct 03, 2009 – On October 19th at 7pm, owners Desiree Miller and Stacy Cortese will be at the studio, located at 15 Madison Avenue, to welcome past and perspective clients to their new location. They will be on hand to answer questions regarding the services they offer, and not to mention, giving away oodles of portrait products. Children are more than welcome to the event and will be treated to a one-of-a-kind “Candy Bar”, fresh hot popcorn and helium balloons for all. Adults will have the opportunity to have a Professional Portrait taken of them for use on public networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace, all FREE of charge.

In addition to the exciting night planned, Desiree and Stacy would like to take this opportunity to talk a little about their ongoing volunteer efforts and how they can use your help. With over 10 years combined experience, the duo felt the need to give back to the community what it has so richly blessed them with. Both frequently devote their time to the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep organization. NILMDTS is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization committed to assisting parents and families going through the difficult time when they experience an early infant loss. NILMDTS connects families with photographers and provides them with a DVD and a reproducible CD of the images of their baby at no cost to the family. Desiree is also an active member of Littlest Heroes Project (www.littlestheroesproject.org) and both photographers regularly contribute their services to charity in hopes of raising money for area families in times of financial hardship. One such recipient from Williamstown, whose family’s home was lost in a tragic fire, was very appreciative of the generous donation made to her family. Of her gift, Jenny McGoldrick says “They had no idea how happy we were to have something to remember how little our daughter was at the time – we were not really into taking pictures then and that is one the many reasons we treasure these. They were a bright spot in a very dull period for us.”

This year, Image Is Everything Studios is asking for your help in making the holidays brighter for the children of one local family, so that they may wake up with a tree full of gifts on Christmas morning. During the months of October and November, any one who donates at least one unwrapped toy to our “Adopted Family” will receive a print credit valued at $50 for use at their next session. The portrait studio also needs your help FINDING that special family! If you know of a family struggling to make this holiday special for their children, please contact the studio with their story. Desiree’ states, “This is only our second year providing this service to an area family, with last years efforts being only of our own doing. It has always been our belief that charitable work is the backbone of our community and this year, we know that with a little help from clients of Image Is Everything Studios, it can definitely be better than last!”

For more information on how you can help the studio with their cause this holiday season, or to find out more about the business, please see their website at: www.imageiseverythingstudios.com or call 856-226-3514.
