Newborn Photography during Covid-19

Dear Clients,

Image is Everything is committed in doing our part to stay informed and be smart while we work with our families, to take action against Covid-19. Being vigilant in handwashing, and wearing a mask, is crucial. Ensuring the safest newborn session experience possible is our highest priority!

Maternity and Newborn Clients

If you are pregnant, we encourage you to wash your hands for ATLEAST 20 seconds with soap or 60% alcohol sanitizer. Avoid kissing and hugging friends or family that do not live in your household. Try to utilize contact-free shopping as much as possible. Shop at stores during hours designated for high risk individuals.

For families with newborns, the advice from the CDC is similar.  Not exposing your family to the general public is the first line of defense in fighting the spread of Covid.  

About your Photographers

As parents ourselves, as well as professional newborn photographers, we understand the anxiety and uncertainty that Covid has brought on the world.  Many are asking, Is it even SAFE to bring your newborn to the studio for portraits?  We completely understand!  Combining our years of professional work, we are truly the MOST EXPERIENCED newborn photographers in South Jersey!  Cleanliness and safety has always been at the forefront of what we do.  Even before the pandemic, we never scheduled more than one newborn client in the studio per day, to limit the risk of germs.  We have always washed/cleaned our fabrics and props after every session.  Additionally, we have added another layer of protection by treating all surfaces with non-toxic disinfectant spray after all sessions and viewing appointments.

Compared to a doctors office (OB or Pediatrician), our studio is MUCH more safe to enter. We generally see one client/day and that allows for the cleanest environment possible. We have no employees, so the only people present in the studio for your session will be you/your family and the photographer. Your appointment is exclusive to YOU; no waiting rooms at our studio.

TEN ADDITIONAL THINGS WE HAVE ADDED TO KEEP YOUR FAMILY SAFE:

1.  Everyone must remove their shoes and wash hands immediately upon entering.
2. Masks must be worn at all times (except children under 3).  If you are being photographed, you can remove your mask during that time only.
3. Only parents should come to the session. If siblings will be participating in the photos, we ask that you have someone bring them at the start of the session.  We will do all sibling images first, and then they can be taken home or perhaps somewhere local, until your session is complete. 
4. We only schedule ONE newborn per 24 hours.
5. General studio sessions will be spaced out on the non-newborn days
6. We are steaming floors, washing props and using non-toxic surface disinfectant between sessions.
7. Please do not bring in any outside props, unless you have thoroughly sanitized them prior to entering the studio.
8. Your photographer will inform you if we OR any member of our household is sick.  This allows you the choice to cancel or rebook your session for a future time.  We also require clients to reschedule if they, or a member in their household, is ill.
9. Disposable masks and changing pad covers are available for your use.
10. ALL PARTICIPANTS who enter the studio will have their temperature taken.  If you have a fever of 100.3 or above, we kindly ask that you reschedule your session.
